The Laborie Parish Council
The Laborie Parish Council is an advisory committee for the Church of the Purification, Laborie and its three sub-stations of Banse/La Grace, Mc. Diarmed, and Piaye.
The Parish Council overseas the management of various Church properties including the Parish Hall on Eucalyptus Avenue. Although built exclusively for parish activities it is used by various community groups for social and fund raising activities.
Structure and Operations:
The Parish Council has a membership of 24 persons, including the Parish Priest Fr. Joseph Raj, who is an ex-officio member. The members of the current executive are:

- Ms Cynthia Francois, Secretary
- Miss Van Aimable, Asst. Secretary
The other members are responsible for Liturgy, Evangelization, Fund Raising & Finance, Catechism, Missionary Childhood, St. Vincent de Paul & Caritas, among other church committees.

1st Saturday – Rosary Devotion (6:00 a.m.) followed by Mass
1st Saturday – Confessions 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
