Feel the Rhythm, Taste the Life — Discover Laborie
Laborie is celebrating the 5th edition of its Jounen Kweyol, part of Festen Labowi, starting this Friday, 25 September, from 7:30pm at the Market Square.
The Laborie La Marguerite Society and the Au Leon La Rose Society will participate to the launch, an event ‘dubbed’ Konba sé flè-a, followed by a performance from Avòt Sèvis, Creole Music Band.
Activities will continue throughout October, with amongst other events a beach party – Mawonn Bòd Lanmè – on 5 October, Kiltè Èydèn featuring Indian cuisine and cultural entertainment, Creole Jazz, Tèt a Tèt,and the Gwan Fèt finale on 25 October.
